According to an Adobe security advisory, there's a critical vulnerability in Flash player v 27, and adobe is about to release a patch.

I can't wait to see the enc of this highly exploited program. It's reached the end of days a while back, and this only cements its position in my mind.

This is a painful end of life for Flash. Long ago, I thought I would learn to create flash animation and interactive content, but now, I think I did well not to waste my time with it :)

I've seen a lucrative business for web devs removing those splash pages from the millions of amateur sites built years ago... in some cases by the very same devs that installed the flash in the first place.
