Mac users who are prompted to install the latest Flash Player may want to wait.

If you have already installed Flash Player 13 and are having problems, the good news is that two days of nagging on the Adobe forum finally persuaded the company to issue a workaround:

We are aware that Macs created between 2006 and 2007 are currently running into problems using the latest release of Flash Player (version 13).

That's, what, a G4? Not a huge proportion of Mac users then.

Users of Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion and Mavericks have been reporting the issue.

All of them require an Intel processor.
