Opening Shadowbox from within a Flash movie

need to call up javascript without the getURL function in AS2

Hi,

I have a problem to which I can't seem to find a solution. I am creating an online portfolio with a gallery within a Flash movie and would really like it if the photos could open in a manner similar to what Lightbox or Shadowbox do. I don't know a whole lot about AS3 so I am doing this in AS2. Anyone have any ideas as to how I may be able to make this work? I am currently seeking alternatives to these presentation tools as it has become a nuisance and has delayed a small personal project into a nightmare.

I'd like to thank everyone and everywho that went out of his or her way to help me out with this little problem. You really didn't have to....and you didn't. WOW! I guess there ain't too many people out there playing around with AS2 and Shadowbox. Anyways, I figured it out and now it works. I just need to figure out why my php scripts aren't sending my email.
