Change the frame rate using as2

I want to combine 2 fla files 16fps and 18fps

OK I have 2 .fla files, they both work exactly how I want them to, except I wish to combine them to eventually create 1 .swf file, the only problem is one works at 16 fps, and the other 18fps.

Is there a simple way of allowing the first half of the movie play at 18fps and the second half at 16fps?

Any help would be much appreciated

also it needs to be as2 because I'm already using some code on other parts of the movie

Pretty sure that you cannot do this. You are going to need to use more or less frames, accordingly.
