My client has a strange problem I have never seen before, and am more or less out of ideas (for now) on what else to check.
Basically, he has a flash website which sends down one file, and that file fetches the other flash files. During the fetching, a snazzy intro is displayed.
Everyone sees the flash intro and subsequent files fine.
Only my client from his office PC, when he goes to the site with his IE7, it takes forever to load, and the flash intro stops in the middle - it doesn't fetch any of the other files for minutes. Eventually after several minutes it the fetch completes and the intro finishes.
He does not have any problems with any other site, only this one. I've installed this same site on another server, and the problem does not occur. However, everyone else, besides my client, can see his site, even on the server which is causing him problems.
Moreover, he has other flash sites using the identical architecure, running on the same server (as the one giving him problems) and he sees them perfectly.
So, it seems to be some combination of the server, the flash files, and his local environment which is causing him the problem.
He has cleared his browser cache so this is not the issue.
Any ideas on things I can try to further narrow down the problem?
