We are planning a project which will be designed/authored in Director and delivered on CD-ROM. The target platform will be Windows and we are aiming that there will be no 'installation' required on the users PC - all info will run from the CD.
The project will involve presenting approx 250 - 400 concepts for an architectural project. The client has asked if they can have a 'search engine' on the CD which will enable the user to search the concepts using search parameters such as 'location', 'keyphrases' (relevant to the concept) and concept type such as 'structure', 'installation' etc.
Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a 'search engine', or other facility, which can be used within the Director environment to achieve this?
Alternatively, any suggestions for a 'third party' tool which could run within the Director application would be useful - as would any other suggestions!
