Hello Friends,

I was away from this forum for quite a long time.Hope everything is fine here. :)
Actually right now I am working on a very interesting site and quite busy for that.
The site is interesting because :
1. That is a Social Net Working site. For the first time I am working on a social networking site and I am very excited about that.

2. The site is totally developed in Flex.

To be honest, I really don't have any clear idea about flex.I only herd that the features of flex have some similarities with flash and ajax.

As the flex is new to me,so obviously the optimization process is also beyond my thoughts.
So, any one of the experts over here can suggest me anything about this?
Any suggestions about the search engine optimization process, how flex works, advantages and disadvantages of flex will be help full for me.
This forum is always help full to the newbie webmasters like me and hopefully this time also I will get some excellent suggestions from the experts over here.

In the end, Flex-based tools come out as a Flash animation - which is a black hole for most search engines. Google can parse SWF (flash) files for plain-text information, but it will have no notion of the functionality of the application.

So in the end, the same problems apply as for any other Flash-based site - if you want it to rank for anything, you need to consider an HTML version in parallel with the Flash one.
