I am trying to create a simple flash form that posts to an asp page.

It is posting just fine but the querystring looks like this

submit.asp?fname=%3CTEXTFORMAT+LEADING%3D%222%22%3E%3CP+ALIGN
%3D%22LEFT%22%3E%3CFONT+FACE%3D%22%5Fsans%22+SIZE%3D%2212%22
+COLOR%3D%22%23000000%22+LETTERSPACING%3D%220%22+KERNING%3D%22
0%22%3Ejohn%3C%2FFONT%3E%3C%2FP%3E%3C%2FTEXTFORMAT%3E
&lname=%3CTEXTFORMAT+LEADING%3D%222%22%3E%3CP+ALIGN%3D%22LEFT
%22%3E%3CFONT+FACE%3D%22%5Fsans%22+SIZE%3D%2212%22+COLOR%3D
%22%23000000%22+LETTERSPACING%3D%220%22+KERNING%3D%220%22
%3Esmith%3C%2FFONT%3E%3C%2FP%3E%3C%2FTEXTFORMAT%3E

When I want it to look like this: submit.asp?fname=john&lname=smith

any ideas?

It appears that instead of feeding it the values of a movieclip (the valiable fname=john & lname=smith) it is feeding the values of a text field. When submitting a form just pass the name of the movieclip that contains the variables. All variables will automatically be sent. At least that is my limited experience.

Wow! What a long string in your post. I had to scroll horizontally to read it all. Still don't understand it.
