Flash sliding images and fade out

afternoon all...

trying to find a tutorial link that shows how to make images slide across the scene and fade out.

i have a movie scene that is 200 x 300 and the images are significantly larger than that. I want them to slide, say from left to right, then gently fade out, as the next one fades in and slides the opposite way.

using Flash MX pro 2004

was using SWISH, but found that is sucks and makes the images move in a choppy form, does not retain image quality and is slow.

You should first convert the picture into a movie clip by pressing F8. Then you can insert a keyframe after certain number of frames. rightclick on the previous keyfram and select create motion tween. Then in the other keyframe you can decrease the alpha of the picture/movieclip from the properties of the movie clip to make it fade away.
