Strange Characters Behaviours

Hi
I know that I wrote this question on another forum but i didn't get no good answer there so I'm trying to put the same questions here at the Flash forum.

There's an area called Mailing List (from now on referred as ML) which should of course allow people to subscribe to ML.

I'm doing this website using an external CSS and part HTML/DHTML and Flash.

The problem is within this ML name (nome) and e-mail fields and the characters I type in.
As I published to SWF my FLA file locally the SWF worked just fine. But when i uploaded it the fields start to react strangely to what I type. Suddenly the at char "@" stopped to work by pressing the usual ALTGR+2 keys and accented characters like "á" "É" and others also acted strange when I tried to type them in.

I've tested it using several PC's Win XP at Firefox, Netscape 8, Safari and iExplorer 7. Only iExplorer 7 works fine this situation. All the other browsers act as if the keyboard had been changed! Also using a Mac OS X with Safari works well too.

Can you help me identifying the problem?

Thank you in advanced.

All the best.

In HTML use UTF8 - it's the best for flash, and in flash try font antialiasing and embed.

Where should I use UTF8 under HTML?
I have the following: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> Are you refering to this?
I already embeded the chars and selected anti-aliase for readability under flash.

Never the less, thank you for your help.
