Changing images with 10 minutes of audio

Hi,

I have a 10 minute or so audio file of a short story that I want to sync with images that will appear at the correct cue points.

Can someone suggest the best way of using Flash to do this please? I can't just import the mp3 to the timeline and place images as keyframes at the correct intervals as the user will have to download the whole flash file (the audio alone is 11mb).

Any ideas?

Knock down the bitrate and bite the bullet. Get the audio quality down far enough that someone with a toasty connection will be able to stream it 'live'.
