For flash based games, is there a underlying programming language that the flash calls to handle things like user username/password, score history, etc etc.
What I mean is, the flash game calls php files when a users game is finished to store the users score in the database...
Also, any flash game book recommendations? (i'm no absolutely nothing about flash so I please recommend a general flash book also if I need that hehe)
