I've come across two sites in the past 48 hours that give me a blank page in my IE7. On one, I get an error and then a blank page. The other, its just blank.

I open up Firefox and browse to those same locations? All is fine.

Both sites using Flash as a primary entrance page. Neither knew there was a problem. I sent screen shots to both showing IE7 and Firefox.

Folks, please be sure to check, double check, and triple check your Flash implementations.

I saw this happen when I had an older version of the Flash plugin (7 instead of the current 9). It seems that the Flash detection (if there was any) didn't detect the older plugin, and Flash movies made for the plugin version 8 or 9 simply didn't work at all.

Sounds like an old version of Flash.... Or a (very) old IE7 beta with the active content filter (which messed with Flash)...
