Optimizing .swf files

What are my options?

Hi,

I have recently included quite a few swf files (approx 3 files per page) in almost all the pages of my weblog. On inclusion of the swf files I find that the file sizes of the webpages have increased a lot. This has also reduced the no of page views which is pretty scary!

Are there any options to OPTIMIZE the swfs, reduce the file size? Please shed some light. I dont want to remove them from my site.
