Hi All,

This is my first post. I am having a persistant problem with flash video playing no sound within windows XP, IE6 to 7 and flash plugin 7 to 9 and using 0.5 to 2Mb/s broadband. Several users have complained that they can see the flash videos, but can't hear any sound. This seems to be a widespread problem for which there is no solution apparent on the www. The adobe knowledge base has no answers either. Previous queries on this site have also remained predominantly unanswered.

The videos have been encoded using low quality Flash 8 400kbs settings at 25fps and sound, I can't remember at what quality, but which is downgraded considerably from the default options on the flash video encoder. The default codecs have been used for encoding.

I would be tremendously grateful if someone could shed some light on this issue as its been a problem for a while now that I can't seem to solve!

Thank you,

Jamie
