is there a way to bend the look of a dynamic text field? i don't think you can treat a text field like a shape and distort it, but i hope there is a way.

As far as I know the only thing you can really do is play with the F.style properties for dynaimic text boxes

the reson for the question, although I had a feeling there was going to be no real answer, is that I am building something like [pi1.net...] and I want the text to curve with the shape.

You need to write a custom componet then. Ask around Flashkit dot com for that.
