Flash not fading also showing text as selectable.

Hi guys, im wondering if anyone can help me out here, i've been scratching my head so long i thing im going bald!

I have created a fairly basic flash site that has some text that fades in and out of different subjects relating to the page that the user clicks onto. Now on some of the pages this works fine, however on one perticular page the text is showing as selectable and not doing the fade, it just swaps between the titles.

But here is the weird part, in the .fla file, the text is not set to selectable! Also the fade motion tween is set the same as all the others. As far as i can see!

Im no flash expert so maybe im missing something? I have done these things is flash before without any problems, many of times!
