Macromedia Flash Player Security
Macromedia Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation.
The following local application on your computer or network:
C:\followed with the path to the file
is trying to communicate with this Internet-enabled location:
[url...]
To let this application communicate with the Internet, click Settings. You must restart the application after changing your settings.
After that I have to manually tell IE that the path to the file is allowed to be viewed. Then it works fine. This is a major problem for two reasons.
1) Everyone else's computers aren't even displaying the message window that I get, so they click on the button or link and nothing happens at all.
2) Everyone that views these would have to manually go in their settings and allow it to work. Most of the people that will be viewing these projects can barely navigate to their email, let alone change settings on IE.
Most of these projects are interfaces that are being burned onto CD and sent out for different conferences, so this could be a major issue. I'm not sure if this is an attribute of the latest version of FlashPlayer or if there is a way to disable it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
