How to do this? Scrolling image, stopping and selections

Im not real experienced with Flash, but im wondering how to approach this: Have a image scrolling at the bottom of the main window, which will stop when the mouse hovers over it. Also want different parts of the image linked and selecting an individual link will show a text area.
Help / suggestions welcome.
