tools for creating flash news animation

i've noticed many sites doing this lately and wondering if a tool exists...

A good example is [thebostonchannel.com...] or [cnet.com...] where there's a flash window that displays a number of items/pages in an animated way.

Anyone know of a good gui tool that assists in creating flash movies like this? thanks. :)

What i will link you is a .fla that i just made. I made it to show you how a basic one is set up in flash. I'm assuming you have a basic understanding on Flash8. This is pretty simple, and much room for improvement. It consists of a Play/Pause buttons, and 1-4 pictures are inserted in it for example purposes.
