Hello,

I have a SWF file that is created by a friend of mine. Unfortunately he has lost all his information from his hard disk due to hardware problems. I do not have the FLA file to edit it in the Macromedia Flash.

Can you please advise me what free software to use to convert SWF to FLA? I have downloaded the free version of flash decompiler but it does not allow me to export SWF to FLA.

Please help me so I will be able to change the contact information on the created flash...

Best Regards, Ani

If your "friend" did not protect the Flash file, you can easily open it. If he didn't then you are out of luck. I'm always weary of people who have lost the original FLA file and need to "open" (read crack) the SWF.

I've heard that one too many times.

I really wish Macromedia would offer developers beefed up protections to Flash developpers. I'm tired of training my competition.
