shockwave movie refuses to play

hi,

I am using an online learning site which plays shockwave movie. The shockwave fileplays well on another machine with same IE ver 6.0. But refuses to play on my machine. I have uninstalled and installed it again. Yet I get the error shown below.

"This shockwave movie has errors that have caused playback problems. Please contact the author of this content regarding this problem".

Please help.
