how to autorun without partitioning files?

How can I create a CD-ROM that autoruns on PCs and Macs?

I've used Toast to do this before but it required partitioning the CD and putting copies of all the files on each partition. My content right now is in excess of 450 MB so I can't duplicate the content and still fit it on a CD.

Any thoughts? Perhaps there's an easier way. Thanks!

If you are using toast to make a hybrid cd (HFS/ISO), you can share files across the partitions. First make your Mac disk image and add all the files you need for the Mac partition. Begin creating a hybrid CD in toast. Select the Mac disk image you just made. When you create the ISO portion of the disk, mount the Mac disk image that you made and open it. Dragging and dropping files from you mounted disk image onto the ISO partion of you CD will "share" the files across the partitions. Then add the Windows specific files and burn.
