Flash MX - Two problems

Alpha transition and fonts not publishing

1) I've set up some text to fade away, but for some reason it stays solid.
2) Also, it's not embedding the special font I'm using.

Basically, what could cause something to not be published in the final swf file?

Hey, the problem is, is that your text feild is considered 'dynamic', or 'input'.

If the text is a scrolling text area, you cant change it... it has to be like that.

however, if its just text, and theres no need to scroll, just switch it to 'static text', and it should work fine. :)

(note, when switching to static text, your font will start to anti-alis)

any of those powerful people at macromedia -- let me control alising! i want to be able to turn it off without having to switch to a dynamic text feild, and i want to be able to use transitions :)
