Flash MX--Scrolling text with links inside content area

Need either text links or buttons within scrolling text area

I need to add content to an existing screen that was designed to fit no more than 4 lines of text including their individual nav buttons. The page should behave like a table of contents (picture press release list with links out to individual press releases).

I thought, hmm why not add text scrolling functionality so I could fit all items on the page, including text and the "read more" buttons. I figured out how to make the text scroll, but I can't figure out how to make buttons flow with the text like an inline graphic.

So I figured why not use hyperlinks on the text instead. However, this doesn't seem to work for anything other than a fully qualified URL (http://...). I need it to link to another section of my movie.

How can I make a scrollable text area that includes either text links, or better yet, my "read more" buttons?
