Generate Flash menu via web page?

Can anyone tell me, or point me to some information on how the dynamic Flash menu generator works on flashbuttons.com [flashbuttons.com]?

Is it Flash actionscript, or some other scripting? Where does the Flash movie get generated (on the server I guess)? What needs to be installed on the server for this to work? Must it be a Windows server, or is there a Linux system too?

I'm really curious about this...
