Flash thumbnail preloading

Need to embed thumbnail of Flash video that preloads full version

Is there any way to embed a thumbnail of my Flash video that will preload the video for use on a second page?

What I want to do is place a thumbnail of a Flash video demo on my homepage. This thumbnail would preload maybe 25% of the video, then start playing. When the site visitor clicked on the video they would be taken to a different page where a full-size version of the video resides. The new page would not need to re-start the preload or re-start the video but would continue seamlessly.

Is this possible? Can it be accomplished using an existing Flash file and ActiveX code?
