Is there a way to resize the document size as well as each graphic all at once?

hi geoapa,
if you resize the swf-movie, all gfxs in it will be resized automatically.

i know this, but I have 2 bitmaps in one of my movies that appear very grainy when they are resized by resizing the movie itself.
I need to decrease everything by 75%

Good question friend. well, I replace larger bitmaps with smaller ones after resizing them in photoshop. if there is another useful way, I also would like to know.

There is no way to avoid this... image files *do not scale*, vector graphics do. As far as I know, flash provides no way to "smooth" the graphics at run time (do a search on anti-aliasing and interpolate for a deeper understanding of this) ... if it did, it would undoubtably be very processor intensive.
Resizing in photoshop is the way to go as bbitgen suggested (this works because photoshop interpolates, or smooths, the image when u resize it)
