While your users learn more, you can earn more -- US $100 for every new AdSense publisher who earns $100 and up to $1 for every new Firefox user.

But I think not everyone can refer to earn money. It says in the adsense faq:

"Select the sub-tab of the product you'd like to refer: AdSense or Firefox plus Google Toolbar."

I don't see a firefox tab in my adsense account.

I'm surprised that Google is paying for downloads of the Firefox browser, but they may be paying for downloads of the Google toolbar for Firefox.

Where did you get your information?

From the FAQ:

"Referrals is a feature of AdSense that allows you to increase your revenue while increasing your users' awareness of useful products and services. By adding a referral button to your site, you can direct users to products like AdSense and Firefox with Google Toolbar. When your referral connects a user to AdSense or Firefox, you can generate more earnings while helping new web publishers monetize their websites or improve their web browsing experience."

More information on the 'Referrals' tab. I see referral information for Adsense and Firefox w/the Google toolbar...

They are pushing firefox with the Google toolbar. I won't be adding a link for this one. But only because I'm anti-toolbar. Not just Google's, any toolbar.

It appears that the rounded corner of the google firefox referral image buttons do not use transparency and use a white background.

So if you place them on anything other than a white background, you will see white outside the button. Not very attractive,
