Over recent months i'm starting to see more and more sites not supporting Firefox, and i'm having to switch to Edge.

With FF having a relatively small percentage of the market, and Edge being Chrome-based, I wonder we're starting to see the demise of FF.

If you have problems with using a site on FFx it is most commonly caused by over-zealous (default) settings. Not always, but common. It might help to click on the Help tab and see whether there is a simple fix.

Good point, I never thought of that, thanks.

I'll try that next time I come across the problem.

sites not supporting Firefox
Do you mean that the site puts up one of those detestable “best viewed with” messages, or do you mean that the site involves bells and whistles which Firefox doesn’t support?

Neither of those: It just doesn't display the page correctly, and sometimes blank.

for many months (perhaps more than a year now) i have been unable to login to FB on my (default) desktop FF browser.
i always get the following response:
Your Request Couldn't be Processed
There was a problem with this request. We're working on getting it fixed as soon as we can.

i used this as motivation to keep FB isolated on another browser...

On FB, it works for me, and i'm with you for keeping it separate. I do a similar thing here, too. I also use Facebook Container which is a bit of an eye opener when you see things blocked. [support.mozilla.org...]

I've found the FF problem on a financial institution site yesterday, and had to resort to Edge, which worked fine.
