With Firefox 79 the "evil cursor" attack is now cured. The bug fix stopped tech scammers from making a cursor that users could not control, leaving them trapped on a malicious site.
In evil cursor attacks, malicious websites tamper with cursor settings in order to modify where the actual cursor is visible on screen, and where the actual click area is.
