Private Browsing Background Color

Can it be changed to something less dark

I use private browsing in FF and have the default set to open as "about:blank", a blank page. Problem is, if I have the lights out in the room, I can't see my keyboard or notes I have on my desk because the background color is so dark. Is there a way to change it to a white background so that it offers a source of light?

Could you maybe just default to opening a page saved on your hard drive and it is just a white blank page?

create or modify your firefox profile's userChrome.css to whatever defaults you would like. Anything you can pl;ace in a css file can go in this one.

Then again, werty's suggestion is probably the easiest ... and you can also include your on "fave link(s)" as well. Back in the old days we used to call these "personal home pages".
