Firefox Printing gone crazy

hp printer (deskjet 1000, j110)

i'm trying to print a web page and it has gone crazy!

this simple web page has sent over 100 'pages' to the print queue another webpage sent over 400 'pages' to the print queue!
... they are just blank pages, passing through the printer!

just to check - i've tried with other broswers and it has printed as expected, i've also printed out a txt document as expected, so i don't think the problem is my printer.

firefox has just gone crazy! at least for me! anyone else having the same problem, or is this somethng to do with my set up here!

You might want to consider upgrading to a current printer.

A few years ago I also used an hp deskjet... basic no frills, did the job but there are better printers available now. My hp envy connects to my wifi so I can print from my mobile phone, my tablet, my notebook and even my wifi tv in addition to my desktop computer. The printer's software updates automatically so I've not seen any bugs. Costs less than you think.

Another thing that may help is removing your printer from the device list, restarting the computer, adding the printer back, then restarting again. That should also reconnect it to firefox.
