Most folks won't see it, or even worry, but TBird is doing the same bolt on addons some (most) do not want.

Posted here for the Mozilla connection. Posted here because Mozilla seems determined to tick off a few folks. here and there.

Fortuna5tly you can disable it... (tad better) you and remove it, Sorry to see this "elephant by committee" process taking shape at Mozilla, either FF or TBird.

And yet, what are the other options?

I use Lightening so having it added in isn't a problem for me. To me it's a lot better than the Pocket integration in FF. Having a calendar in the Mail app makes it more like Outlook which is likely the stand-alone mail client they're going after.

True. I just like to pick and choose my own add ons. For those Tbird users with interest have the option to install, disable, or remove.
