Problem with redirection in Firefox

I have newly setup a website. Now, since the webhost's page comes by default, I set a redirection to redirect the domain name to the /index.html file. This redirection works fine in Internet Explorer.However, Firefox still keeps showing the same webhost's page. What should I do now so that my index page is viewed on all browsers.

Have you tried clearing the cache in Firefox to see if this was an issue?

Thanks skytek..i have been really stupid for this simple problem..its working fine now.
