Search suggestions

I can't disable search suggestions in this new Firefox. It does not matter if I select Google, Yahoo, etc....I uncheck the box for 'show search suggestions' but it enables it again immediately. I also have save history turned off..and it still saves them. Is it me? Or has anyone else noticed this?

The issue is resolved. The problem was a add-on 'disconnect search'.

Hi stumped2, welcome to the forums - sorry you didn't get suggestions, but it is good to know you resolved the issue yourself. Thanks for explaining the problem so if anyone else runs into that, they'll be able to know where to look.
