I am guilty of making sure nothing else was forced fed on me while doing a new install of Chrome (I know this forum is about FF .. read more..), I used the classic maneuvers from regedit etc.. works OK but no way to remove it from new tabs in FireFox.
I made a lot of searches and finally got it done without D-loading more pest killers!
