Connection problems

I'm having a little trouble getting a high speed connection, and it may take me a few weeks.

In the meantime, I'm trying to connect with the free Juno dial-up.

I can connect once to set up the account, but after that, I get a message that says "No dial tone found".

I also get a network type selection screen (public, home . . .) if that means anything.

Got it.

I dropped my economy DSL connection because my computer broke, and I didn't have a computer that worked for three months. And when I got another computer, and went to reconnect the service, I discovered the provider was full.

I haven't used dial-up in a while, and I found out now-days, the area code is required. I've got a private connection again. Thank God.

I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. It's slow, but I only need it for a brief time.
