Cursor on pages in Firefox

Just like it would be in an input element/box

I ran Firefox 1.5.0.3 in safe mode and the cursor disapeared. I then manually disabled one, two, or three extensions at a time to narrow it down to which one might be causing this behavior. However when I ran it normally and manually disabled all the extentions the behavior still happened.

I do not recall seeing my cursor on the pages themselves. I find this extremely annoying as I usually hit HOME and END to navigate quickly to the top or bottom of a page (instead of scrolling). Now it goes to the begining or end of the line I clicked on!

I can only assume this issue has been discovered by others but I haven't heard anyone mention this yet.

I've not heard of this particular problem before - are you saying that the cursor always disappears within the Firefox window?

If you add/remove a lot of extensions, you're going to come across conflicts from buggy extensions. It would probably be a good idea to create a new profile, import your bookmarks and reinstall the extensions you need.

I sometimes have the cursor flicker really fast when I hover links. I have to reboot FF to correct it.
