First of all I say hello to people at this forum, because this is my first post.
One of my major problem in Firefox is it always tend to use much higher resources of CPU (nearly 100%) when my browsing time extending over one hour.
Actually don't know what is the reason for happening this.

I'm using Windows XP SP2 with 250MB memory and 2.6GHz CPU.
The problem persists from the release of firefox v3.0

Actually I want to know that this is problem only happening to me or also others.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld! Do you use any Firefox plugins? I've heard that poor memory management in the plugins is often the cause of high resource usage by Firefox.

Currently, as I type, my FF is using between 350,000 K - 380,000 K. Yeah it's a bit of a memory hog.

I only solved this by adding more RAM. :-) 250 MB, is this correct? I'm surprised you can even get it to boot up with XP . . . . get that around 2GB and life should be easier.
