I am wanting to use Firefox as my browser but I have a problem. I cannot import (my many) passwords and favorites into firefox. I am assuming this is because their is a problem with windoze/IE due to corruption of the files etc.
Has anyone had similar problems and what is the solution?

You can do your Favorites manually if the Import doesn't work. Go into IE, File > Export. Export your bookmarks as a .html file. Rename it to bookmarks.html, then copy the file into your FireFox profile folder.
Unfortunately I know of no way of manually importing other IE settings . . .
Yeah, the problem is not really the favorites its the password and forms data thaqts causing the problem.
I can do it manually, but it will take a lot of time. I just wondered if there was a shortcut to fixing this problem.
I will continue to use IE for now. Until I can find the time to make the switch manually.
