Hi, everyone

I plan to write a chat scripts for firefox(IE is not open-source), so that people who browser online via ff can chat together all around the world! It may become the biggest chat-room in the world.
Is that idea interesting?

In me again, imperiously, was the desire to talk, to tell and to share the idea with you!

You're obviously a talker, lizzyshi ;)

I'm not, so I'd be unlikely to use such an add-on. As far as I'm aware, there are similar social add-ons that don't seem to have generated much traction. Have you looked at the approach of existing developers?

yes! Andy, I like talk with various of people and think chat is an interesting thing!
I haven't see any approach of existing developers. Most chat-rooms are integrate with website or forum, not browser. Maybe the developer of social add-ons never thought of it :D
If you have seen similar social add-ons, please tell me!

Won't your chat script need some kind of website/server somewhere so the chat messages can be exchanged?

Sorry for my poor English!
Server is a necessary.
I mean that the chat-room will be an add-on applied to firefox, not some website.
