And all the screwy behaviour introduced with 3.03 is back again...
  • Can't use Tab key to navigate pages
  • Ctrl + C moves to the next page instead of copying selected text
  • Form fields don't get focus properly

    Is it just me?

3.0.4 crashes more times than 3.0.3, which I didn`t think possible.

No problems with Ctrl-C Bill. Or form field focus. Or the tab key for that matter.

Closing the browser and re-opening it seems to help. After a while I start getting these odd behaviours cropping up. Likewise I find 3.0.4 a bit more unstable than its predecessor. I'd have a hard time using this as my main browser.

Bill, did you do a clean install, or use the automatic upgrade?

It is a really good idea to uninstall the previous version and then install the new one, at least and especially when changing major version numbers. So if you didn't do a clean install of your first 3.x version, now would be a good time.

Unless you select the option to delete all directories during the uninstall, your settings, bookmarks, and add-ons will be preserved.

If problems persist, it's a good idea to test the browser in Safe mode, by starting it from the Safe Mode option in the Windows Start menu. Problems with incompatible add-ons can be isolated that way.

This was an automatically upgraded install. I did the manual upgrade from 1.x to 2.x, but the auto upgrade to 3.x was such a time saver.

I did an uninstall and a clean re-install of 3.0.4 as suggested. I'll have to report back on any further difficulties.

I'm assuming that it is some issues with my plug-ins, but I just haven't had time to sit down and troubleshoot.

I`m getting access violation errors in 3.0.4. Sometimes after viewing flash. With each new release comes a whole new problem. ;)
