Help with border colors using html

When viewing my web site from IE it looks perfect, all bordercolors are colored as desired. when i use firefox, the borders do get colored, but i still get this fine black border around.

can any body help out plss?

Curious, I took a look and ran your code through my editors/browsers. You're correct. There is a difference. Never noticed that before. Were all browser issues as small as this! Don't have an answer for the FF shadow, though I note that IE is opposite in having a white line bottom (reversed). It is interesting!

I, being lazy, wouldn't worry about it, but then again, I'm lazy. :)
