Help!

I cannot use my HTML editing program with Firefox open now that I have installed Live HTTP Headers.

I want to uninstall it but can't figure out how. The Live HTTP Headers installation page has uninstall instructions but I can't find five of the six files it says to edit or remove. And the one file I can find doesn't have the line the instructions say it should. I've looked the best I know how and just can't find the files.

The only method of support I can find is by sending a message to everyone on the mailing list and I don't want to do that.

Any suggestions?

Which version of Firefox, and what is the HTML Editor called?

This might already be a known issue, with a fix available.

How about navigating to Tools > Add-ons from the top Firefox menu, and then you should see a big "Uninstall" button when you click on the Live HTTP Headers add-on in the list.

I was responding to g1smd's question before I realized this thread went to two pages.

tedster, your highly-complicated and insightful resolution was successful. Thank you.

Perhaps someday when "obvious" becomes part of my reality, I can help others on this forum.
