Message: The proxy server is refusing connections

When I try to use FF, I now get this message "The proxy server is refusing connections"

Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.

* Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct.

FF worked fine up until yesterday and now for whatever reason something has changed. I haven't found where to change this back to the way it was, that is not using a proxy server. Any ideas on where I can change this setting so it connects to my ISP. Opera and IE work just fine.

Thanks Jim. A gremlim must have come in and changed settings on me.
