"The page cannot be found" - when linked

I am using Mozilla Firefox. At times when I try to link to a page from some websites I get the message "The Page Cannot be Found" Yet, when I access these same links from the same websites in IE or Netscape, the link works and the page is displayed. This sure seems to be a problem unique to Firefox.
I have no idea how to correct this problem and would appreciate any help anyone can give. thanks

Hello gandb77, and welcome to the forums.

My first guess would be that the URL for the <a> tag uses some unusual characters. Since Netscape is essentially the same as Firefox, that part confuses me a bit.
