Problem: CSS/XHTML code incorporates jpg/gif images that appear correctly in Dreamweaver 8 and in the Dreamweaver browser for IE, Safari, Firefox 2.
The images ALSO appear correctly on a live page in IE 6 (PC), IE 5.2 (Mac), Safari, Firefox 1.5 (Mac/PC).
BUT! As soon as I load the LIVE page in Firefox 2 (Mac or PC), only **certain** images disappear. The mysterious images appear in the source code, but do not actually appear on the Firefox page.
Here are two examples: < sorry, no personal links >
THANK YOU very much for help and guidance!

If so, then whatever was cached before will be displayed again, and the 'new' images won't be fetched from your server for another six hours...
If it's not a caching issue, then I'd suggest removing/reinstalling Firefox (your settings and bookmarks will be preserved).

I have dumped my cache. No luck.
I found a new (to me) Firefox toolbar for web design troubleshooting and was able to turn off CSS styles. In this mode, at least I see my alt text with links.
This problem has been replicated on 7 different machines (both Mac and PC) at different locations -- but all with Firefox 2.

But on 7 other machines also? Do they all have the same browser extensions?
