FF on MAC/FF on a PC

Does it render the same?

I might go for a MAC
And need to check my dev also in FF
so the question is:
Does FF look the +/- the same in both machines?

More or less, yes. It's the same rendering engine cross-platform, but between the platforms you get differences due to the OS itself: different default fonts, screen resolutions, font-smoothing etc. The actual layout issues will be the same though.

It's a good idea to check the final output on Windows with no font-smooting, it's a big step down from OSX or Linux. :) Running Windows in a virtual machine (I use VMWare Server under Linux, you can do the same in Mac) is a good method.
