I woke up this morning and opened the computer. Firefox decided it was gonna update itself without my knowledge sometime before. As I opened the browser, all preferences were gone - only my passwords remained.

I got a message telling that I had successfully update Firefox - not FF2.0, the one before. But all my bookmarks are gone. Nothing left. That's ten years of bookmarks lost. There's no point retrieving an older version, there are too many changes.

Thanks a lot firefox.
